The Challenge.

Busy people struggle to find activities that fit their schedules, interests, locations, and budgets. The challenge was to create a focused product experience that simplifies discovery and booking while still feeling rich, personal, and socially connected.

Goals.

Develop an intuitive platform that makes it easy for users to discover, book, and share activities without decision fatigue. Create a personalized experience that surfaces relevant recommendations, supports social and community connection, and feels approachable enough to use regularly.

Solution.

Designed a user-friendly mobile app that streamlines activity discovery, booking, and sharing through personalized recommendations and social features. The app helps users find activities quickly and fosters ongoing engagement through shared plans, and community participation.

Surveyed 80+ participants to understand user motivations and pain points

Developed two personas, Callie and Andy, to translate survey insights into clear design priorities.

Competitor Analysis

Reviewed Meetup, Eventbrite, and The Nudge to understand how people discover activities today, where current platforms create friction, and which interaction patterns could inform a more user centered experience

Existing platforms offered strong features in isolation, but none balanced personalization, clarity, accessibility, and ease of discovery in one seamless experience. This revealed an opportunity to create a product that feels more curated, approachable, and efficient for busy users.
